Solvency II’s rewrite is now fully specified — EIOPA completed every legal instrument it was mandated to deliver, and the amended framework applies from 30 January 2027. In the same month regulatory data failed in both directions: a £4.165m PRA fine for inaccurate reporting, and a regulator’s own designation feed suspended since 18 June. Proportionality was calibrated twice.
